About Operational PDA Handbooks

The materials collected here have been compiled by members of the Operational Medicine Interest Group of the Uniformed Services Academy of Family Practice.  The goal of this project is to offer physicians a central repository of medical and military references for download onto handheld computers, for use anytime, anywhere.  Other clinicians may find find these helpful as well, and none of the material contained here is classified.  A number of the resources are PDA formatted versions of materials downloadable in HTML and PDF format from other sites on the web.  As available, the original reference sites are listed with the downloads.  Also, we are seeking to provide downloads in multiple reader formats, and for Pocket PC/Win CE users.

An additional note......the graphics and other nifty web magic have been minimized, in an effort to make this site user friendly, even over the narrowest of bandwidth.  Recognizing that on deployments bandwidth can be at a premium, the bells and whistles have been sacrificed to help make the materials here available to the widest audience possible.
